Monday - Sunday (7 days a week), 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for tours. (Closing at 5:00)
Tea services Tuesday - Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (Closed Mondays)

Make reservations in advance to visit our Queen's Parlour Tea Room, located inside Miramont Castle.

Our High Tea, Light Victorian Tea, and Prince/Princess Tea packages are served Tuesday through Sunday, for 11:00am and 1:00pm seatings only. Closed on Mondays.

Self-guided Tours (45 minutes to 1 hour)

Closed Annually on Easter Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Day, December 23rd, and New Years Eve.

castle bubbleFun for the entire family! Miramont Castle will be open on 12/31 to ring in the new year with a fun, interactive and educational tea party and bubble pop when the ball drops!
 
10:30 will be tea time, The Ball drops at noon.
 
Event price is $55.00 per person $35.00 for kids 12 and under.
 
Join us to enjoy a 4 course high tea, where each course is based on different new Year's traditions. After tea we will meet upstairs in our solarium where kids will participate in our "bubble pop" when our very own new years ball drops at Noon! We will conclude this afternoon event with a complimentary champagne/ sparkling cider toast! This event is reservation only, as the castle is closed to the public that day.

Adolph Bandelier: Southwestern Retrospective Exhibition

(Admission is FREE from 5:00pm-8:00pm on the first Friday of every month during the exhibition.) We Kindly invite the Manitou Springs Community to visit our newest exhibit! Adolph Bandelier was a friend of Miramont Castle's builder, Father Francolon, during the years both lived in New Mexico. The exhibition showcases 50 historical photographs, the majority taken between 1880 and 1900, of places Bandelier explored in the desert southwest. These photographs, sourced from eight different institutions across the United States, have been reproduced using the piezography seven-tone carbon ink process. Don't miss this opportunity to visit the castle and learn about its history and the influence of this archaeological legend!

Why Visit the Castle?

Owned and operated by the Manitou Springs Historical Society, Miramont Castle Museum displays a colorful array of local history. Built in 1895, this Victorian home offers 14,000 square feet, and four floors with over 30 rooms to explore. With exhibits of staged vintage artifacts, firefighter and war memorabilia - we have something for everyone to enjoy! Nestled inside the Castle, our Queen's Parlour Tea Room invites you to indulge in our beloved multi-course Teas, and signature lunches. A visit to Miramont Castle Museum is unlinke any other, so stop in and discover this hidden gem!

Parking at Miramont Castle:

We have designated, free parking for guests of Miramont Castle and the Queen's Parlour Tea Room.

Turning onto Capitol Hill Avenue from Ruxton Avenue, you will see the Castle straight ahead. The road will fork, so take the road to the left, Montcalm Street. You will see a small lot of about five spaces, Castle guests are welcome to park here. For our larger lot, continue up Montcalm Street, to a stop sign, and take a sharp right to follow Pilot Knob Avenue. Take a right into the parking lot. Please be respectful of our neighbors, and do not park in residential parking spaces!

Handicapped and/or Mobility Issues

May be dropped off and/or park in our porte cochere (pull-through drive in front of the building) so that access to the entrance ramp and chair lift is more convenient.
